Finland’s Team For The World Cup In Toblach
The cross-country skiing World Cup heads to Toblach in Italy this weekend. The Finnish Team is presented.
Iivo Niskanen is one of the Finnish skiers named to the World Cup in Toblach, Italy.
Toblach, Italy, is the place for this weekend’s cross-country skiing World Cup. The event begins on Friday, February 3, with a sprint in freestyle technique. On Saturday, February 4, it’s time for a 10km individual start also in freestyle technique. On Sunday, February 5, the World Cup weekend ends with a 4×7.5km relay race for both women and men.
In a press release, the Finnish Ski Association has named their cross-country ski team for the upcoming World Cup in Toblach. Finland will start with 22 athletes. On the women’s side, Finland will begin with 9 skiers. Already on the men’s side, 13 athletes will start for the Scandinavian country.
