Erik Valnes secured first place in the men’s 20km mass start race in classic technique for Norway at the Oberhof cross-country skiing World Cup. Results from the mass start race.

Erik Valnes (NOR) took first place at the Oberhof 20km mass start race in classic technique with a total time of 46:03.0. The Norwegian cross-country skier was followed by Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget, from Norway, 0.9 seconds back, in second place.

Pål Golberg, also from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 1.6 seconds behind the winner. 

Mattis Stenshagen, from Norway, and Federico Pellegrino, from Italy, rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.
