Anna Dyvik is the 14th Swedish cross-country skier to be selected for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Anna Dyvik is the 14th Swedish cross-country skier to be selected for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

This morning, the Swedish Ski Association released Dyvik’s nomination for the next Winter Olympics, after her sprint performances at Davos World Cup and Lenzerheide Tour de Ski, where she finished in 5th and 8th places.

“It means a lot to me to succeed in taking me to the Olympics in this strong women’s team that Sweden has right now. I am very proud that I did it by deciding to go my own way and believe in it”, says Anna Dyvik in the press release.

The remaining two cross-country skiers will be selected after the Tour de Ski, which takes place between December 28th and January 4th.

“There are still Olympic places left to fight for, a maximum of one place for men and one place for women. It will be decided who gets that places after the Tour de Ski”, says Anders Byström, Swedish cross-country ski team manager.
