Norway’s Caspersen Falla Withdraws From Tour De Ski

by PROXCSKIING • 26.12.2021
Norwegian cross-country skier Maiken Caspersen Falla will not travel to the Tour de Ski, which starts on 28 December in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.

“Maiken (Caspersen Falla) has not found her way back to the energy she needs to go on the Tour”, says Norwegian National Team coach Ole Morten Iversen.

“She therefore stays home and prepares for the winter competitions and championships”, he says.

Earlier this morning, we reported that Ingvild Flugstad Østberg is still struggling to meet the requirements in her health certificate and is unable to handle a hard race program, missing Tour de Ski and Olympics altogether.

Anna Svendsen and Ane Appelkvist Stenseth will replace Flugstad Østberg and Caspersen Falla in the Tour de Ski.
