Umeå in Sweden hosted the Swedish roller ski championships week. Two competitions were on the program, the distance race on Friday and the sprint race on Saturday. Check the results.

Umeå in Sweden hosted the Swedish roller ski championships week. Two competitions were on the program, the distance race on Friday and the sprint race on Saturday. Check the results.

The Swedish roller ski championships week took place at the roller ski track in Umeå, built in 2019. To enhance the competition experience, the course has undergone modifications designed to replicate the challenging conditions skiers encounter during winter.

  • 14:30 CET: 15-kilometer individual start freestyle technique – men
  • 18:30 CET: 15-kilometer individual start freestyle technique – women

Saturday, July 1 (More information HERE and HERE)

  • 17:35 CET: Sprint classic technique – women and men

In addition to the competitions having Swedish Championships status, they also marked the starting point for the summer’s Svenska Spel Summer Tour. The two competitions in Umeå are followed by competition weekends in Trollhättan and Falun later in the summer.
