The Visma Ski Classics celebrated its Season XII, and it has been a long way for the Pro Tour from the early days to its current existence with 14 events all around Europe. Along the Pro Tour, another circuit took place, the Visma Ski Classics Challengers.
Anders Aukland, Team Ragde Charge, awarded with the Visma Ski Classics Veteran bib Season XII. After the Season XII finale in Ylläs-Levi, we saw a close competition for the Veteran bib at the SC Ranking between Anders Aukland and Stanislav Řezač.
Team Kaskipuu was the Finnish newcomer in the Visma Ski Classics Season XII. The Pro Team decided to join Ski Classics only late in the summer and the first Pro Tour season brought positive experiences.
Team Ramudden had some fantastic years, and the women have taken the lead and paved the way for the Pro Team. In the 2020/2021 season, Jenny Larsson was a skier who asserted in all Visma Ski Classics events. This season, she has not started a single race due to an injury to her wrist that doctors could not diagnose until many months after it occurred.
Estonian Pro Team skier Mart Kevin Põlluste, Team Nordic Jobs Worldwide, is leaving competitive skiing behind him. However, he will continue as a Pro Team Director for his team.
