Max Novak leaves Team Ramudden but continues in another Pro Team. Will it be in a Swedish or Norwegian team?

The Swedish Pro Tour skier who won his first Visma Ski Classics event this season at Pustertaler Ski Marathon announced that he is leaving Team Ramudden to join another Ski Classics Pro Team.

Max Novak was invincible last summer, winning almost all rollerski races he took part in. On snow, apart from his win at Pustertaler Ski Marathon, he was top 10 in 9 other events, with a 2nd place at Birkebeinerrennet, a 3rd at Tartu Maraton, and finishing Season XII in the 3rd position overall at the Champion competition.

“It’s an exciting opportunity,” Novak says to SVT Sport, and continues:

“I have had three good years (with Team Ramudden) and am grateful for the time and the chance I got to develop there.”

Novak’s new Pro Team is yet to be defined, with four options being the most robust possibilities.

“I do not have (a team yet), but we are working on it and have four good alternatives right now,” the Pro Tour skier commented to SVT Sport.

“We will actually build a team around me in two of these alternatives. It is a team that does not exist right now; it is an exciting opportunity,” concludes Max Novak.
