Last year, Oskar Kardin, Team Ragde Charge, was in a solo breakaway at the 100km Årefjällsloppet and looked like a clear winner. However, conditions dent Kardin’s chances, and he was overtaken by the group and finished in ninth place.
Saturday, March 26, it’s time for Årefjällsloppet, the longest Pro Tour race so far in history. The now 104km Visma Ski Classics race is Season XII’s 12th stage and takes place in Vålådalen, Sweden.

After years of competing at rollerski and cross-country skiing World Cup stages and World Championships, the Czech athlete already has several top 20 positions in long-distance ski events and aims to improve.
Due to expected strong winds and snowfall, Årefjällsloppet 100km on Saturday, March 26, the 12th event Season XII, will be carried out on a new course. Instead of a long lap, the race will be held on a course with three laps.
