ProXCskiing met Mattias Reck in Båstad, Sweden, for a training session with Team Engcon. Reck is well-known in the cycling world since he has been a trainer for professional cycling teams for ten years. For the past six years, he has been a coach for Trek – Segafredo, including riders like Bauke Mollema, Giulio Ciccone, Elisa Longo Borghini, Ellen van Dijk, Lizzie Deignan, and Mads Pedersen.

The second day of the Blinkfestivalen in Norway saw Max Novak, Team Aker Dæhlie, and Linn Sömskar, Team Engcon, winning the 52-kilometer-long Blink Classics on Thursday evening.

Max Novak won his first race in the Ski Classics last season. The winner of the Pustertaler Ski Marathon announced after the season that he was leaving Team Ramudden to take the step to another Ski Classics Pro Team.
