Max Novak and Linn Sömskar Winners Of Blink Classics 2022

The second day of the Blinkfestivalen in Norway saw Max Novak, Team Aker Dæhlie, and Linn Sömskar, Team Engcon, winning the 52-kilometer-long Blink Classics on Thursday evening. 

Blinkfestivalen day two was marked by a long-distance rollerski race in classic technique, with start and finish in Ålgård, Norway. This year, Blink Classics has attracted big names from several countries, and today, Ski Classics Pro Team athletes met World Cup skiers in the most robust starting field of all times.

In the men’s race, Max Novak, Team Aker Dæhlie, won the race in a total time of 1:59:21. Andrew Musgrave, Team Næringsbanken, finished in second place, 0.1 behind the winner, in a tight sprint finish. Magnus Vesterheim, Team Kaffebryggeriet, completed the podium in third place, 3.0 back. 

In the women’s competition, Linn Sömskar, Team Engcon, won the race in a total time of 2:02:18.9. Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, finished in second place, 2:17.9 behind the winner, and Victoria Carl, German National Team, completed the podium in third place, 5:11.3 back.
