The Roller Ski World Cup continued on Friday with a Team Sprint race in freestyle technique for elite women in Madona, Latvia. Check out the results.

Madona Roller Ski World Cup – Team Sprint – Women’s Race

Sweden I, with Evelina Crüssel and Ebba Stenman, won the Team Sprint today at the Roller Ski World Cup in Madona, with a total time of 21:46.17.

Italy, with Anna Maria Ghiddi and Maria Eugenia Boccardi, finished in second place, 2.41 seconds behind the winners. Estonia I, with Kaidy Kaasiku and Keidy Kaasiku, completed the podium in third place, 2.58 seconds back.

Estonia II (Teiloora Ojaste and Mariel Merlii Pulles) and Slovakia (Alzbeta Gargulakova and Michaela Strakova) rounded out the top 5 by finishing 4th and 5th, respectively.

  1. Sweden I (Evelina Crüssel and Ebba Stenman), 21:46.17
  2. Italy (Anna Maria Ghiddi and Maria Eugenia Boccardi), +2.41
  3. Estonia I (Kaidy Kaasiku and Keidy Kaasiku), +2.58
  4. Estonia II (Teiloora Ojaste and Mariel Merlii Pulles), +12.70
  5. Slovakia (Alzbeta Gargulakova and Michaela Strakova), +1:25.06
