Launching a new race at Marcialonga Bodø – 6 kilometers of true local energy
The Bodø Energi Race is the ski event where achievement, joy of sport, and community take center stage.
For Children, Youth, and Adults
The Bodø Energi Race is just as suitable for children full of energy as for competitive-minded teenagers. It is also a perfect option for adults who want to test their fitness – or for families looking to do something active and fun together.
This race is not primarily about being the fastest. It’s about taking part.
The six kilometers offer fresh air, the joy of movement, and that special atmosphere created when many people come together for a shared experience. Whether you choose a relaxed pace or go all-in from start to finish, you decide the speed.

Three Distances – One Ski Festival
With the launch of the Bodø Energi Race, Marcialonga Bodø now offers a total of three distances, making the event a true ski festival for everyone, regardless of level.
Those looking for a bigger challenge can take on the 18-kilometer distance – ideal for both active recreational skiers and experienced athletes seeking a solid workout.
The longest distance, 45 kilometers, is for those who truly want to test their capacity, endurance, and strength. A real challenge awaits in spectacular Northern Norwegian surroundings.
With 6, 18, and 45 kilometers on the program, everything is set for beginners, families, and ambitious athletes alike to find their challenge within the same event.
Created for Community
The Bodø Energi Race is designed so that everyone can participate on their own terms. The most important thing is to come together outdoors, cheer each other on, and create great moments together. Therefore, the organizer has introduced a special family option, allowing up to six family members to participate under the same entry fee.
