The Role: Event Manager at Wsportmedia:

As an Event Manager at Wsportsmedia, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of sports events. Your primary responsibility will be to commercially manage Ski Classics and our diverse events portfolio, ensuring their sustainability and growth. This entails working closely with the event team to develop both new and existing events into financially robust long-term projects.

In today’s digital age, proficiency in digital tools and social media is paramount. You’ll play a pivotal role in leveraging these resources to enhance event coordination and drive engagement. From managing event registration systems to executing seamless on-site operations, you’ll be immersed in every aspect of event production and promotion.

Many of our events take place on weekends. As an Event Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to travel extensively to many destinations across Europe, enriching your professional and personal experiences.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • A background in business or digital marketing.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills considered advantageous.
  • A keen interest in modern digital environments and social media.
  • Prior experience in professional sports or event management (preferred but not essential).

Personality:

We’re looking for individuals who embody:

  • Commercial hard working and driven person with digital and social skills
  • Willingness to periodically work intensively from, time to time (peak season is November – April)
  • Interested in international tasks and relationships.
  • Passion for sports as it is an important part of the daily work.
  • Knowledge about Ski Classics
