Last winter, the Norwegian skier came home from the Junior World Championships with three gold medals. Now, she is joining Team Eksjöhus.

Milla Grosberghaugen Andreassen, the 17-year-old skiing talent from Norway, is joining Team Eksjöhus for Season XV and will have the opportunity to become part of the team’s long-distance activities.

Last winter, Grosberghaugen Andreassen, only 17 years old, became one of the strongest names at the Junior World Championships in Canada, winning three golds and a silver medal.

In a press release, Pro Team Director Espen Träldal commented about the athlete:

“You only have to look at her results to understand what an incredible talent she is, but it’s also about managing the talent and doing the right things along the way to also succeed as a senior. It’s great that she wants to be part of our business,” and added:

“Milla still goes to school, but we feel that we have a lot to contribute together with the national team and the club. We have a good structure and great resources, and since Marthe Kristoffersen came in as sports director, we have even greater opportunities and even better conditions. With her experience, she will give Milla and our other skiers great confidence and help them develop further.”

Milla Grosberghaugen Andreassen is looking forward to joining Team Eksjöhus:

“It’s a new and exciting challenge for me. The planning is not complete yet, but I hope that I will not only train with them for periods but also be able to participate in some competitions with Team Eksjöhus. I think it’s fun with longer races, especially in classic style.”

Milla is especially looking forward to training with Magni Smedås:

“She was my coach a few times when I was 12-13 years old, so it will be great fun to train with her again!”
