König Ludwig Lauf, a Ski Classics Challengers event, took place today with a long-distance race in classic technique in Oberammergau, Germany.

König Ludwig Lauf, a Ski Classics Challengers event, took place today with a long-distance race in classic technique in Oberammergau, Germany.

With the participation of hundreds of skiers in the main event of König Ludwig Lauf and a strong presence of Pro Tour athletes, the great winners of the Ski Classics Challengers event were Thomas Bing and Franziska Müller, both from the xc-ski.de A|N Skimarathon Team.

König Ludwig Lauf – Men’s Race

The action in the men’s event was intense until the final meters of the race, with the decision for the podium places remaining for the exciting final sprint. 

With a total time of 1:39:23.4, Thomas Bing, xc-ski.de A|N Skimarathon Team, became the winner, followed by Jan Šrail, Vltava Fund Ski Team, in second place, and Petter Soleng Skinstad, Team Coop, in third place.

König Ludwig Lauf – Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the competition was also exciting. Pro Tour athlete Franziska Müller, xc-ski.de A|N Skimarathon Team, completed the race in 1:53:12.7, giving no chance to the rest of the field.

Second place went to Melina Schöttes, also from xc-ski.de A|N Skimarathon Team, with Anna Lindgren, Bruse Sauerland Ski Team, completing the podium in third place.
