Ski Classics Standings after Engadin La Diagonela

Engadin La Diagonela marked the 6th Ski Classics Pro Tour event of Season XV. After the challenging race day, these are the rankings and bib-holders in various overall competitions.

On Saturday, January 20, 2024, Engadin La Diagonela saw Kasper Stadaas, Team Ragde Charge, and Magni Smedås, Team Eksjöhus, winning the race in superior style.

CHAMPION COMPETITION

When we look at the Ski Classics general classification after Engadin La Diagonela, the Yellow Champion Bib Competition belongs to Kasper Stadaas, Team Ragde Charge, and Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden.

In the men’s battle for the overall, the Yellow bib rests on Kasper Stadaas’ shoulders. Stadaas, Team Ragde Charge, leads the Champion competition with 905 points after his win at Engadin La Diagonela. 

Second place overall is now Axel Jutterström, Team Eksjöhus, with 658 points, followed by Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, tied with his teammate Andreas Nygaard, with 597 points.

In the women’s overall, Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, is now leading with a total of 860 points, thanks to her second place at the Engadin La Diagonela.

Fleten is followed by Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, with 811 points. Third place overall is Kati Roivas, Team Eksjöhus, with 728 points.

SPRINT COMPETITION

After two Sprint checkpoints this weekend at Engadin La Diagonela, Simen Ramstad, Team Kaffebryggeriet, now carries the Green bib of the men’s Sprint competition with 93 points. Second place is Amund Hoel, Team Engcon, with 91 points. Alfred Buskqvist, Team Ramudden, is now in third place with 80 points.

After the race this Saturday, Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, is still the Green bib holder with 141 points. Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, is in second place with 80 points, and Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Ragde Charge, is in third place with 74 points. 

CLIMB COMPETITION

After no Climb checkpoints this weekend, Thomas Bing, eD system Silvini Team, with 87 points, and Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, with 144 points, are carrying the bib in the Climb Competition.

In the men’s side, Thomas Bing, eD system Silvini Team, leads the Climb competition with 87 points. Kasper Stadaas, Team Ragde Charge, is in second place with 79 points, followed now by Thomas Ødegaarden, Team Eksjöhus, in third place, with 67 points.

In the women’s Climb competition, Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, leads with 144 points. Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, is in second place with 111 points, followed by Kati Roivas, Team Eksjöhus, in third with 63 points.

YOUTH COMPETITION

The Pink bibs in the Youth Competition are resting on the shoulders of Axel Jutterström, Team Eksjöhus, and Karolina Hedenström, Lager 157 Ski Team, with 658 and 583 points, respectively.

Axel Jutterström, Team Eksjöhus, is leading with 658 points. Amund Riege, Team Ramudden, is in second place with 542 points, and Thomas Ødegaarden, Team Eksjöhus, with 517 points, is in third place for the Youth bib overall.

Karolina Hedenström, Lager 157 Ski Team, is leading with 583 points. Hanna Lodin, Team Engcon, is in second place with 523 points, followed by Julie Kvale Støstad, Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso, in third place for the Pink bib with 479 points.

PRO TEAM COMPETITION

Team Eksjöhus leads the Pro Team Competition with 1160 points after Engadin La Diagonela. Second place belongs to Team Engcon, with 980 points.

Team Ramudden sits in third place overall with 940 points after the weekend.

Next up is Marcialonga in Italy on January 28, 2024. The event marks the seventh Ski Classics Pro Tour stage and the first Grand Classics of Season XV.
