In a press release earlier today, Ski Classics announced that Russian and Belarusian athletes and Pro Teams will be banned from participating in its events for another season due to the ongoing and deepening conflict over the last 12 months in Ukraine.

Ski Classics has previously frozen the Challengers’ status from events held in Russia.

“The board of Ski Classics has decided not to remove the ban introduced in February 2022 upon Belarusian and Russian Pro Teams and Athletes. For the upcoming Season XV, for which Pro Team registrations soon open, the situation will be unchanged,” says David Nilsson, CEO Ski Classics.
