Early today, on a press release, Team Nordic Jobs Worldwide informed that the Pro Team would be back to its base and going to the next season with a 100% Estonian team.

According to Pro Team Director Mart Kevin Põlluste, “Team Nordic Jobs Worldwide is going back to its roots – 100% Estonian team!” And continues:

“After thorough analysis and reflection, the team moves back to the “roots” – for season 2022/2023, we will be a 100% Estonian team with Estonian skiers.”

The Pro Team was created to develop long-distance skiing in Estonia, and Mart Kevin explains the decision:

“The team – Team Nordic Jobs Worldwide – was founded in order to bring new freshness and power to Estonian skiing. In the previous season we decided to expand the team and make it more international. This was definitely the right move at that time and the lessons learned, gained were very valuable. But among that process we had lost our core essence of the team and the reason why we are actually doing it – we want to give young Estonian athletes an outlet for racing, a dream to chase. Now we are bringing it back closer to our hearts and main goal!”

Põlluste concludes by thanking all the former skiers and looks forward to the next chapter.

“Still, a massive, massive thank you to our former skiers – Veli-Matti (Räsänen), Terhi (Pollari), Sofia (Lindberg), Gabriel (Strid) and Gustav (Nordström). It was an absolute privilege to get to know you, and we wish you nothing but the best for the following years! We will continue developing and aiming high! Thank you!”
