Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, started the weekend at the top of the SC Ranking. After Birkebeinerrennet, the Norwegian Pro Team athlete Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, keeps the lead with 26.400.000 points. 

In the SC Ranking, the global ranking system for long-distance cross-country skiers, Emilie Fleten is followed by Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, in second place, with 24.803.240 points. Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Charge, is in third place overall with 24.788.382 points.

Among the Top 10, seven Pro Team athletes are from Norway, and three are from Sweden after Birkebeinerrennet.

Notable in the top 20 is that Johan Tjelle, Team Engcon, is moving up from 15^th to 13^th place, and Amund Hoel, Team Engcon, from 19^th to 14^th position.

Moving up also Eddie Edström, Team Engcon (from 34^th to 33^rd); Hanna Lodin, Team Engcon (from 38^th to 37^th); Stina Nilsson, Team Ragde Charge (from 64^th to 42^nd); and Haakon Holden, Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso (from 46^th to 42^nd).

Pro Team athletes moving up inside the top 100, three or more spots: Elias Andersson, Ski Team Göhlins (54^th to 51^st); Louise Lindström, Team Eksjöhus (56^th to 53^rd); and Anton Persson, Team Ramudden (74^th to 68^th).

Moving up also Marie Renée Sørum Gangsø, Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso (93^rd to 90^th); Erik Ola Jorde, NTNUI Ski Team (104^th to 96^th); and Simon Vuillet, i3 Ski Team (108^th to 100^th).

Outside the top 100, significant improvements of ten spots or more for Maximilian Bie, Team Coop (140^th to 120^th); Mathias Øivind Andresen, NTNUI Ski Team (163^rd to 153^rd); Lassi Juhanoja, Bruse Sauerland Ski Team (168^th to 157^th); Ludvig Vartdal (180^th to 159^th); and Amelie Suiffet, Team Nordic Expérience (182^nd to 168^th).

The SC Ranking points are calculated on the percentual time as the skier is behind the winning time in their gender with an exponential drop of points. This makes it possible to create one single ranking for both women and men, professional and recreational skiers. 

Each skier can include results from their best 12 races within 24 months. The woman or man with the most points will have the #1 rank. In a Ski Classics Pro Tour event, the winning woman and man receive 2.000.000 points; in a Challengers event, the winners collect 500.000 points.

For the Pro Team athletes, Podium Bonus Points are also awarded to the top three skiers in each gender. A Pro Tour event winner gets 200.000 points, 2nd place brings 100.000 points, and 3rd place awards 40.000 points.
