Pro Tour Athletes Dominate Flyktningerennet 2023

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Flyktningerennet, took place this Sunday with a 44km long-distance race in classic technique from Nordli, Norway, to Gäddede, Sweden. Get to know the winners.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Flyktningerennet, took place this Sunday with a 44km long-distance race in classic technique from Nordli, Norway, to Gäddede, Sweden. Get to know the winners.

After a freezing day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event on the border of Norway-Sweden saw the Pro Tour athletes Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, and Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, winning their respective races.

Flyktningerennet – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, a trio of Pro Tour athletes battled until the line in a close sprint to the finish. At the end, the winner was Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team, completing the race in a time of 1:59.46.1.

Amund Riege, Team Ramudden, finished in second place, with a total time of 1:59:46.4, followed by Herman Paus, Team Ramudden, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 1:59:47.2.

Flyktningerennet – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, with a total time of 2:18:40.7. 

Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, finished in second place, with a time of 2:18:53.1, followed by Karolina Hedenström, Lager 157 Ski Team, with a total time of 2:21:55.7, and completing the podium in the third position.

  1. Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, 2:18:40.7
  2. Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, +12.3
  3. Karolina Hedenström, Lager 157 Ski Team, +3:14.9

As Flyktningerennet is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective gender.
