Olimb and Sætre winners at Trysil-Knut Rennet 2025

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Trysil-Knut Rennet, took place this Saturday with a 40km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Søre Osen, Norway. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Trysil-Knut Rennet, took place this Saturday with a 40km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Søre Osen, Norway. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Norway, Trysil-Knut Rennet, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Henrik Olimb, Jevnaker Idrettsforening, and Lin Iren Sætre, Nybergsund IL, won their respective races with solid performances.

40km Men’s Race

In the men’s event, the winner, Henrik Olimb, Jevnaker Idrettsforening, completed the race in a time of 1:56:57.6, setting a new track record for the men’s class.

Eskil Frøisland, NTNUI Ski Team, finished in second place, 4.8 seconds behind, followed by Stian Roti Svendby, Lyn Ski, completing the podium in third position and 46.7 seconds back.

  1. Henrik Olimb, Jevnaker Idrettsforening, 1:56:57.6
  2. Eskil Frøisland, NTNUI Ski Team, +4.8

40km Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, the winner was Lin Iren Sætre, Nybergsund IL, completing the event in a total time of 2:22:59.6 and also setting a new track record for women.

Stine Johansen, Åslia Skilag, finished in second place, 2:51.4 back, followed by Kristine Kristiansen Torgersen, Vind IL, 9:51.0 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
