This Pro Team hails from Norway and, more precisely, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNUI. The team entered the Ski Classics circuit in 2018 and is one of the most unique teams, as both athletes and managers are students, and volunteers run everything.

Comprising a young and dedicated team of eight passionate athletes, four women and four men, from Norway, born between 2000 and 2003, NTNUI Ski Team is a tight-knit family driven by the love of what they do.

Led by Pro Team Director Lauritz Sogn-Larssen, the team sets itself apart through its distinctive structure, “unlike other teams, the NTNUI Ski Team is entirely student-led, with athletes and management alike balancing their skiing careers with academic responsibilities. This exceptional combination of athletic excellence and academic dedication is rooted in the 115-year legacy of Norway’s largest ski club for young adults,” says Sogn-Larssen and adds:

“We’re not just focused on winning; we’re building a future beyond the slopes. Each team member is not only refining their athletic talents but also pursuing a degree at the Norwegian Science and Technological University, ensuring they are well-equipped for life after skiing.”

NTNUI Ski Team is not just a competitive group; the skiers embody a unique blend of academic and athletic ambitions, skillfully managing the demands of both with a solid commitment to their sport.
