The Ski Classics Challengers event Klarälvsloppet, a 90km long-distance rollers ki race in classic technique, took place today in Karlstad, Sweden. Jenny Larsson, Team Ragde Charge, dominated the women’s race.

Many Ski Classics Pro Team athletes, traditional cross-country skiers, and biathletes from the Swedish National Team matched their skills in Sweden’s 90km long-distance race today. After a long race, starting in Uddeholm and finishing at Karlstad, the Ski Classics Challengers event Klarälvsloppet saw Jenny Larsson, Team Ragde Charge, winning the race with a solid performance.

Klarälvsloppet – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the pace was more controlled than the men’s race, and a big group was at the front in the first part of the competition.

After the Munkfors checkpoint (27km into the race), the speed increased, and a group of five athletes remained in the front: Anikken Gjerde Alnæs and Jenny Larsson, Team Ragde Charge; Hanna Lodin and Ida Dahl, Team Engcon; and Linnea Johansson, Lager 157 Ski Team.

With less than 10km to go until the end of the race, the leading group was still intact, but two skiers started to stand out and got a gap, taking the decision to the final sprint.

At the end, Jenny Larsson, Team Ragde Charge, proved to be the fastest of the day and won the race with a total time of 3:53:08.9. Ida Dahl, Team Engcon, finished in second place, 0.3 seconds behind. Hanna Lodin, Team Engcon, completed the podium in the third position and 47.7 seconds behind the winner.
