Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso is preparing for the Ski Classics Season XVI (2024/2025) and has started to present its squad. This week, it was announced that Norwegian Pro Team athlete Hanna Sandholt Hansen will join the ranks of the Norwegian Pro Team.

Sandholt Hansen was a member of Team NTNUI SWECO and is now heading to Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso. Her most significant achievements so far are the 15th place at both Bad Gastein Criterium and Birkebeinerrennet in season 2023/2024. Still, she has shown over the seasons that she has the potential for improvement.

A post on social media announced the signing:

“Next week, we will be releasing our team for the 2024-25 season. The first skier we would like to introduce is Hanna Sandholt Hansen, who is one of our new skiers on the team. Hanna is 23 years old, originally from Maura in Nannestad, and is currently studying at NTNU.

@hannashansen is a great talent in @skiclassicsofficial. She finished 15th place in both @birken_no and the opening race in Bad Gastein last winter. Hanna also finished 6th place in the Youth bib competition last season.”

During Ski Classics Season XV, Hanna Sandholt Hansen started in 11 individual Pro Tour events and 2 Ski Classics Challengers. As mentioned before, her best results were 15th place at both Bad Gastein Criterium and Birkebeinerrennet and 4th at the Challengers Marcialonga Arctic Ski Race, finishing the season in 16th place at the Champion competition with 816 points and 5th place at the Youth competition.
