Last weekend, Falk made a competition comeback after her rib injury and won Moraloppet.

“It feels great. There were no setbacks after the race in Mora, and then I felt that it is just as good to get started,” says Falk to SVT Sport.

The rib injury Hanna Falk sustained in a rollerski crash last autumn prevented her from starting her first Visma Ski Classics season. But now, she will be able to start Marcialonga on Sunday.

“Hanna has been pain-free for two weeks now, so we think it’s a good opportunity to test and get some routine,” says Lager 157 Ski Team manager Anton Järnberg to SVT Sport.

Järnberg does not set high standards for Falk on Sunday:

“We have to get routine, and I see it as good training,” says the Pro Tour manager.

“I have not raced in Visma Ski Classics before, so I cannot have such high expectations anyway. I must lower my expectations and ski with what I have. I am rebuilding my form, and the big goal is Vasaloppet, so I need some competitions under the belt, says Hanna Falk to SVT.
