Grönklitt weekend: Ski Classics Season XVI heads to Scandinavia

The Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVI heads to Scandinavia this weekend, as the ski destination Orsa Grönklitt in Sweden will host the Grönklitt Criterium 61 on Saturday and the Grönklitt ITT on Sunday.

After seven stages in central Europe, the Ski Classics Pro Tour Season XVI starts its final part in the same venue as last season, Orsa Grönklitt.

Grönklitt Criterium 61

On Saturday, February 15, the weekend starts with the Grönklitt Criterium 61. The eighth event in Season XVI is a 61-kilometer long-distance race offering stunning scenery. The Grönklitt Criterium 61 is a mass-start race featuring a challenging course.

Grönklitt ITT

The Grönklitt weekend starts with the Grönklitt Criterium 61 on Saturday, February 15. The action continues Sunday, February 16, 2025, with the Grönklitt ITT.

The 13-kilometer individual event, Grönklitt ITT, marks Season XVI’s ninth Ski Classics Pro Tour stage.

The Individual Time Trial is organized as an individual start competition, and the Pro Team athletes will face a 13-kilometer race in typical Swedish forests close to small lakes and beautiful landscapes, all only half an hour’s drive from the legendary finish line of Vasaloppet.
