In a release on social media, Team BSV Ibex announce that the German Franziska Müller is joining their ranks. The Pro Team athlete is moving from xc-ski.de A|N Skimarathon Team and joining the Swiss Pro Team for the upcoming Ski Classics Season XV.

Franziska Müller ended Ski Classics Season XIV in the 52nd position, with 209 points in the Yellow Champion bib competition overall.

Pro Team Director Markus Walser is looking forward to the cooperation:

“We are happy to have her on our team. On one side, we are happy because we are sure that she will strengthen our team on the women’s side with her experience from the last seasons together with xc-ski.de. She showed already in training with us that she is on a good level. On the other side, she fits as an open and always friendly and funny person perfect in our team,” says Walser and adds:

“The team recently had a training camp at Lake Constanz, our third camp this season. In June, we trained in Oberstdorf; in July, we took part in the Dupaski Festival, and at the end of August, we plan to start at the Flüela Challenge, a roller ski race in Davos.”

Franziska Müller is also showing her enthusiasm for joining the Swiss Pro Team:

“I’m happy with the new team. It’s a cool, young, and fun group. The team asked me if I wanted to join them, and I wanted to try something new. I get along well with them, and they are almost all from Davos, which is not so far away from me,” says the German Pro Team athlete and adds about her plans and goals for Season XV:

“What kind of races I start exactly, I still have to see how I can best manage it with my studies, but I would be pleased if I could manage a top 20 ranking again.”

Müller has 15 Pro Tour and 5 Ski Classics Challengers starts under her belt. Her best Pro Tour result was at Ylläs-Levi in 2019, a 13th place. During Season XIV, her top result was 24th place at the Bad Gastein Criterium.
