The Ski Classics Challengers event, La Venosta Open, took place this Saturday with a 34km long-distance race in classic technique in Val Venosta, Italy.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, La Venosta Open, took place this Saturday with a 34km long-distance race in classic technique in Val Venosta, Italy.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Italy saw Christian Lorenzi, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, and Franziska Müller, xc-ski.de A|N Skimarathon Team, win the races with solid performances.

La Venosta Open – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner Christian Lorenzi, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, completed the race in a time of 1:44:00. 

Aleš Bohatý, eD system Silvini Team, finished in second place, with a total time of 1:47:26, followed by Iacopo Mazzacasa, Robinson Ski Team, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 1:52:50.

La Venosta Open – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Franziska Müller, xc-ski.de A|N Skimarathon Team, with a total time of 1:58:36. 

Michaela Patscheider, Robinson Ski Team, finished in second place, with a time of 2:02:13, followed by Karin Weltert, xc-ski.de A|N Skimarathon Team, with a total time of 2:11:08, and completing the podium in the third position.
