The Ski Classics Challengers event, Fjälltopploppet, took place this Saturday with a 35km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique in Bruksvallarna, Sweden. Check out the results.

After a sunny day, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Bruksvallarna, Fjälltopploppet, saw a fierce fight for the podium places. Ebba Andersson, Piteå Elit SK, and Gustaf Berglund, IFK Mora SK, won their respective races with solid performances.

Fjälltopploppet – 35km Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner, Ebba Andersson, Piteå Elit SK, won with a convincing performance, completing the race in a time of 1:27:30.0 in a solo breakaway.

Frida Karlsson, Sollefteå Skidor IF, finished in second place, 3:29.4 behind. Moa Hansson, Falun Börlange SK, completed the podium in third place, 7:04.8 back.

  1. Ebba Andersson, Piteå Elit SK, 1:27:30.0
  2. Frida Karlsson, Sollefteå Skidor IF, +3:29.4
  3. Moa Hansson, Falun Börlange SK, +7:04.8

Fjälltopploppet – 35km Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, Gustaf Berglund, IFK Mora SK, won after a tight fight, with a total time of 1:19:19.1.

Axel Jutterström, Team Eksjöhus/IFK Mora SK, finished in second place, 4.1 seconds back, followed by Fredrik Andersson, Ski Team Göhlins/Piteå Elit SK, 39.7 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
