The Ski Classics Challengers event Lipnolopet starts in one month. The 55km classic rollerski race will take place on October 8 in Frymburk, Czech Republic.

The first Ski Classics Challengers event in the Czech Republic, Lipnolopet, is a 55km rollerski race with 1.200 meters of total climbing. The start has a flat terrain around Lake Lipno, on the Czech Republic and Austria border. Undulating course in the mid part of the race with stunning views of the Alps, and the finish is a challenging 5km long uphill to Svatý Tomáš (St. Thomas), where the climb can reach up to 20% of a gradient in certain places. Simply, a long-distance rollerski race with everything professional and recreational skiers would expect.

At the start you can look for top Czech long-distance skiers as Stanislav Řezác, Jiří Pliska and Jan Šrail, and from the women’s side, Karolína Grohová, Tereza Hujerová and Sandra Schützová.

The event region is very popular for roller and cross-country skiing, ideal for training camps, and easily accessible from several airports (Prague 2:30, Viena 3:00, Salzburg 2:30, and Munich 3:30).

Lipnolopet is also part of the EDS Skiroll Classics series, organized by the Pro Team eD system Silvini team. Together, they organize seven rollerski events, with Lipnolopet being the grand finale and part of the Ski Classics Challengers calendar.
