The Ski Classics Challengers event Blåvegenløpet is a 50km long-distance race in classic technique taking place this Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Mo I Rana, Norway.

Blåvegenløpet history goes back to 1979 and will celebrate its 46th edition in 2024. The course stretches from Umbukta to Klokkerhagen outside Mo I Rana City. Every year since 1979, about 1000-1500 skiers participate in the event.

Blåvegenløpet has three distances: 10km, 15km, 26km, and 50km (Ski Classics Challengers), and it gathers everyone from families to professional skiers for one big ski event.

The course follows the Blue Road (E12), which connects Norway to Sweden. The start in Umbukta is only 3km from the Swedish border, and the finish line is just outside the city of Mo I Rana.
