The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event Årefjällsloppet shorter race is a 45km long-distance race in classic technique this Saturday, March 26, in Vålådalen, Sweden.

The race offers fantastic skiing when the mountains are at their best in the spring. Long-distance skiers will start in Edsåsdalen and ski on well-groomed tracks and scenic views, across lakes and over the mountains with the finish in Vålådalen. 

Årefjällsloppet’s shorter category is 40km in classic technique. In addition, there is the 100km race on the same day, which is part of the Visma Ski Classics Pro Tour. Årefjällsloppet is a complete ski weekend that offers something for everyone.
