After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers Lake Saimaa Roller Ski Marathon saw Isac Holmström, Team Edux, and Katariina Lonka, Ikaalisten Urheilijat, win the race with solid performances.

Lake Saimaa Roller Ski Marathon – Men’s Race

In the men’s competition, the winner was Isac Holmström, Team Edux, with a total time of 2:27:18.0. Veli-Matti Räsänen, Team Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, finished in second place, 0.1 seconds behind, followed by Ville Ahonen, Team X, 8.3 seconds back and completing the podium in the third position.

Lake Saimaa Roller Ski Marathon – Women’s Race

In the women’s race, Katariina Lonka, Ikaalisten Urheilijat, won with a total time of 2:26:02.9. Oona Kettunen, Pohti SkiTeam, finished in second place and 1:10.2 back. Anni Kainulainen, Vantaan Hiihtoseura, 2:56.8 behind, finished in third place.
