Arntzen Joks and Eliassen winners at Arctic Alta Skimarathon 2025

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Arctic Alta Skimarathon, took place this Saturday with a 46km long-distance skiing race in classic technique at Alta, Norway. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Norway, the Arctic Alta Skimarathon, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Henrik Arntzen Joks, Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso, and Gunhild Eliassen, Nordreisa Idrettslag, won their respective races with solid performances.

Arctic Alta Skimarathon – 46km Men’s Race

In the men’s event, the winner, Henrik Arntzen Joks, Team Næringsbanken Stora Enso/Forsøk IL, completed the race in a time of 2:16:45.0.

Daniel Strand, Alta IF/Alta IF Langrenn, finished in second place, 11:57.0 behind, followed by Alexander Vestre, Øksfjord IL, completing the podium in third position and 14:36.0 back.

Arctic Alta Skimarathon – 46km Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, the winner was Gunhild Eliassen, Nordreisa Idrettslag, completing the event in a total time of 2:51:41.0.

Elinor Henriksen, Oslo, finished in second place, 41:37.0 back, followed by Therese Bang Larsen, Hammerfest SK, 45:11:0 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

As the Arctic Alta Skimarathon 46km is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
