All you need to know ahead of Grönklitt Classic & ITT

Grönklitt Classic and Grönklitt ITT, the ninth and tenth stages in Ski Classics Season XV, take place this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, in Sweden. Here are all the facts you need to know ahead of the weekend.

The spotlight of the Ski Classics Season XV now turns towards Scandinavia, as the ski destination Orsa Grönklitt hosts a double Pro Tour event weekend. 

GRÖNKLITT CLASSIC

On Saturday, February 17, the weekend starts with the Grönklitt Classic. The ninth event in Season XV is a 60-kilometer long-distance race offering stunning scenery. 

The Grönklitt Classic is a mass-start race that will feature a challenging course. The skiers will face a race in typical Swedish forests close to small lakes and beautiful landscapes only half an hour’s drive from the legendary finish line of Vasaloppet.

The following day, Sunday, February 18, marks the continuation of the weekend with the Grönklitt ITT – Individual Time Trial, the tenth event in Season XV. 

Pro Team athletes will embark on a 13-kilometer battle against the clock, venturing through the captivating Swedish landscapes.
