The biathlon IBU Junior Open European Championships 2025/2026 concluded today in Imatra, Finland, with the junior women’s and junior men’s Mass Start 60 events. Check out the results.

After solid performances, Latvian Estere Volfa and Czech Michael Malek claimed the Mass Start 60 wins at the IBU Junior Open European Championships in Finland.

9km Mass Start 60 – Junior Women

Estere Volfa (LAT) secured the win in the 9km Mass Start, stopping the clock at 27:00.6 and with one missed shot.

Tetiana Tarasiuk (UKR) finished second, 3.1 seconds back and clean shooting, while Greta Lindqvist Seldahl (SWE) completed the podium in third place, 1:12.4 behind and with two missed shots.

12km Mass Start 60 – Junior Men

Michael Malek (CZE) secured the win in the 12km Mass Start, stopping the clock at 32:13.2 and with clean shooting.

Thomas Marchl (AUT) finished second, 13.4 seconds back and with one miss, while Jakub Potoniec (POL) completed the podium in third place, 14.1 seconds behind and with one missed shot.
