Biathlon IBU Cup: Calendar for the 2025/2026 winter season

The 2025/2026 IBU Cup season will bring biathletes to some of the sport’s most traditional venues, from the opening races at the beginning of December to the grand finale in early March. Here is the full schedule for the upcoming season.

The 2025/2026 IBU Cup season will bring biathletes to some of the sport’s most traditional venues, from the opening races at the beginning of December to the grand finale in early March. Here is the full schedule for the upcoming season.

The 2025/2026 IBU Cup begins in Obertilliach, Austria, from December 4 to 7, 2025, and concludes in Lake Placid, USA, in March 2026. Throughout the season, biathletes will compete in traditional venues across Europe and North America.

The first period of the IBU Cup season features Obertilliach, Austria; Ridnaun-Val Ridanna, Italy; and Lenzerheide, Switzerland, before the holiday break. In January, the circuit continues in Arber, Germany, followed by Brezno-Orsblie, Slovakia.

After a short pause, attention turns to Norway, where the IBU Open European Championships will take place in Sjusjøen from January 28 to February 1, 2026.

The IBU Cup then resumes a few days later with the final three stages: Sjusjøen once again, followed by two stages in Lake Placid, USA, at the end of February and the beginning of March.
