The biathlon IBU Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Obertilliach, Austria, with another women’s 7.5km Sprint. Check out the results.

The biathlon IBU Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Obertilliach, Austria, with another women’s 7.5km Sprint. Check out the results.

After a dominant performance, Sweden’s Anna-Karin Heijdenberg claimed the win at the IBU Cup in Austria.

Anna-Karin Heijdenberg (SWE) took first place in the 7.5km Sprint race in Obertilliach, finishing in 21:00.8 with clean shooting.

Aasne Skrede (NOR) placed second, 7.7 seconds back, also with clean shooting. Rebecca Passler (ITA) completed the podium in third place, 15.9 seconds behind the winner and with clean shooting.

After Obertilliach, the IBU Cup continues in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna (Italy), Lenzerheide (Switzerland), Arber (Germany), Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia), and Sjusjøen (Norway) for the IBU Open European Championships. The post-championship stages include another weekend in Sjusjøen, before two final weeks of competition in Lake Placid, USA.
