Norwegian talent claims women’s IBU Cup Sprint victory in Lake Placid
The biathlon IBU Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Lake Placid, USA, with the women’s 7.5km Sprint. Check out the results.
After a solid performance, Norwegian Gro Randby claimed the win at the IBU Cup in the USA.
Randby took first place in the 7.5km Sprint race in Lake Placid, finishing in 21:25.0 and with two missed shots.
Annie Lind, from Sweden, placed second, 26.8 seconds, with clean shooting. Sara Andersson, also from Sweden, completed the podium in third place, 36.0 seconds behind the winner and with one miss.
