Norwegian biathlon team for the World Cup in Hochfilzen
The biathlon World Cup 2025/2026 continues this week in Hochfilzen, Austria. The Norwegian national team is now named for the upcoming competitions.
Hochfilzen hosts the second World Cup stop of the winter from December 12 to 14, 2025. The event begins on Friday with the women’s and men’s Sprints, continues on Saturday with the men’s 12.5km Pursuit and women’s 4x6km Relay, and concludes on Sunday with the men’s 4×7.5km Relay and women’s 10km Pursuit.
In a press release, the Norwegian Biathlon Association has named its team for the Biathlon World Cup in Austria. Norway will start in Hochfilzen with 13 athletes, six women and seven men.

After Hochfilzen (Austria), the biathlon World Cup continues in Annecy – Le Grand Bornand (France), before heading to Oberhof (Germany), Ruhpolding (Germany), Nové Město na Moravě (Czech Republic), and Antholz–Anterselva (Italy) for the Winter Olympic Games. The post-Olympic stages will take place in Kontiolahti (Finland) and Otepää (Estonia). The 2025/2026 World Cup season ends in Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway).
