The biathlon World Cup 2025/2026 continues this week in Annecy – Le Grand Bornand, France. The Norwegian national team is now named for the upcoming competitions.

Annecy – Le Grand Bornand hosts the third World Cup stop of the winter from December 18 to 21, 2025. The event begins on Thursday with the women’s 7.5km Sprint, followed by the men’s 10km Sprint on Friday, continues Saturday with the women’s and men’s Pursuit, and concludes on Sunday with the women’s and men’s Mass Start.  

In a press release, the Norwegian Biathlon Association has named its team for the Biathlon World Cup in France. Norway will start in Annecy – Le Grand Bornand with 13 athletes, six women and seven men.

  • 14:45 CET: 12.5km Pursuit, Men

Sunday, December 21: Women 12.5km Mass Start and Men 15km Mass Start (more information can be found HERE)

  • 14:45 CET: 15km Mass Start, Men

After Annecy – Le Grand Bornand (France), the biathlon World Cup continues in Oberhof (Germany), Ruhpolding (Germany), Nové Město na Moravě (Czech Republic), and Antholz–Anterselva (Italy) for the Winter Olympic Games. The post-Olympic stages will take place in Kontiolahti (Finland) and Otepää (Estonia). The 2025/2026 World Cup season ends in Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway).

IBU Cup in Lenzerheide 2025/2026

The Norwegian Biathlon Association has also named their team for the IBU Cup in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.
