Becoming a father for the first time: “Can’t wait for chapter 2.0 in life”
A new high point for the Norwegian biathlete. Now, the 27-year-old will be a father for the first time.
“Can’t wait for chapter 2.0 in life,” write Johannes Dale-Skjevdal and his wife on Instagram.
Spring has brought a series of life highlights for the 27-year-old, who was repeatedly left out of the World Cup team this winter.
Late in the winter, things started to click in sports as well, and Dale-Skjevdal ended the season with a podium finish in the sprint at the World Cup final in Holmenkollen. The week after, he won gold in the Norwegian Championships relay. Just before Easter, he was named to the elite national team.

And now he has shared the news that he and his wife, Kristina Dale-Skjevdal, are expecting their first child.
The couple has been together since 2018 and got married in the summer of 2023.
“We are, of course, very excited to become parents for the first time. I’ve started to feel that it’s time for something extra in an otherwise one-dimensional elite sports life, so I think this will be a great addition in all areas of life,” Johannes Dale-Skjevdal tells TV2.
