Angelini joins Team Aker Dæhlie as new wax manager
Team Aker Dæhlie has announced the signing of Luca Angelini as the Pro Team’s new wax manager for the upcoming season.
Angelini is one of the most experienced wax technicians in Ski Classics, having built his reputation across several Pro Teams over recent seasons, including stints with Team Eksjöhus and Team Ramudden. The Norwegian Pro Team, Team Aker Dæhlie, highlighted his specialized expertise in Central Europe conditions as a key factor in the recruitment.
“We recruited the experienced Luca Angelini from Italy for his special expertise in Central Europe conditions,” the Pro Team wrote on their social media channel. “Our success in Marcialonga last year has only made us hungry for more.”
The appointment comes as Team Aker Dæhlie prepares to challenge for top honors across the full Ski Classics World Championship Season XVIII calendar, with Marcialonga as one of the main targets.
