The German Ski Association has named its biathlon training groups for the 2026/2027 season.

According to a post on social media from the German Ski Association (DSV), the Training Group 1a and Training Group 1b for the 2026/2027 season have now been selected. 

“ALL SET FOR A NEW SEASON. These athletes have been placed by the DSV in training group 1a, the highest support and training level within the biathlon discipline, for the upcoming season. Note: This does not automatically mean a direct World Cup qualification for all of them. We will communicate the qualification criteria in due course.”
