In a few days, the Olympic Games in Milano-Cortina will begin. Now, Jesper Nelin has revealed that he is about to become a father.

Jesper Nelin is currently in Livigno together with the rest of the Swedish Olympic biathlon team at a training camp. He has now shared that he and his partner are expecting a child towards the end of the season.

“Exciting times ahead. If everything goes according to plan, a new little guy will come into the World at the end of March,” Jesper Nelin writes on social media.

Nelin has competed in two Olympic Games and owns one Olympic gold medal, won in the relay when Sweden caused a major upset to take victory in PyeongChang 2018. Individually, his best Olympic result is ninth place in the mass start in PyeongChang.
