Norwegian talent wins 20km classic at the Scandinavian Cup in Vantaa

The Scandinavian Cup season 2025/2026 continued today in Vantaa, Finland, with a 20km interval start race in classic technique for women and men. Check out the women’s results.

Karoline Grøtting, from Norway, showed her form and won the 20km interval start race in classic technique at the Scandinavian Cup in Vantaa. Complete results from the women’s event.

Karoline Grøtting, from Norway, took home first place today in the women’s classic race with a time of 56:43.1.

Milla Grosberghaugen Andreassen, also from Norway, grabbed second place, 41.8 seconds back, and Sofia Henriksson, from Sweden, completed the podium in third place, 44.5 seconds behind the winner.

Scandinavian Cup – Vantaa 2025/2026

Vantaa will host three races from Friday to Sunday. The program opened on Friday, January 2, with a 1.3km sprint race in classic technique, followed by a 20km interval start in classic technique on Saturday, January 3. The weekend concludes on Sunday, January 4, with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique.
