The 24th edition of Vasaloppet China will take place on January 4, 2026, with international registrations opening on Monday, September 8, 2025, via the SC Registration Platform.

With a history spanning over 20 years, Vasaloppet China attracts around 800 participants each edition, most of whom are from China, but also from abroad. The race is one of the country’s most popular long-distance ski events and part of the Ski Classics Challengers series.

The main race is 50km in classic technique, but shorter distances of 25km, 6km, 1.5km, and 0.3km are also offered, creating a festive atmosphere in the ski arena surrounded by an impressive snow sculpture park.

The Vasaloppet Ski Arena is situated in Jingyuetan National Forest Park, on the outskirts of Changchun, Jilin Province. The event is part of the city’s annual Snow and Ice Festival, which opens just days before the race.

Registrations will open on Monday, September 8, 2025, via the official SC Registration Platform with the goal of increasing international participation by using the new, innovative SC Registration Platform.

SC Registration is a digital platform and CRM system for online sales of registration spots and additional services connected thereto, creating a global community with an increasing number of international participants. So far, the SC Registration Platform is exclusively available for organizers of Ski Classics Pro Tour and Challengers events and is constantly developing to accommodate all cross-country skiing events worldwide.
