According to a press release from the Norwegian Ski Association, the penultimate FIS inspection has been completed, and the FIS Head of Event, Sandra Spitz, praised the World Championships organization and gave clear points for improvement.

“The preparations have gone well. There is always something that can be improved, and I expect that the entire population of Trondheim will want a perfect World Championships. I think the WC will succeed, but there is still much work left to achieve this level,” says Spitz.

The press release also mentioned that: “The entire World Championships organization, several representatives from FIS, NRK, (Norwegian) Ski Association and Trondheim municipality participated this week (last week) in FIS coordination meeting number six for the World Championships organization. The purpose of the meeting was for all disciplines in the World Cup work to present their status. In addition, several inspections were carried out. The project is now in a phase where the experiences from the trial World Championships are being reviewed, and the final touches and details of the championships in 2025 are being carried out.”
