The cross-country skiing World Cup heads to Tallinn in Estonia this Tuesday after a thrilling World Cup in Falun. The Austrian Team is presented.

Tallinn, Estonia, is the place for this Tuesday’s cross-country skiing World Cup with a sprint in freestyle technique on March 21. 

In a post on Social Media, the Austrian Ski Association has named their cross-country ski team for the upcoming World Cup in Tallinn. Austria will start with 4 athletes, all for the men’s team.

“Michael Föttinger (@mfoetti97), Moser Benjamin (@moserbenschi), and Lukas Mrkonjic (@lukas.mrkonjic) are already looking at the track for Tuesday’s sprint. Mika Vermeulen (@mikaa_ver) arrives on Monday, and then we can start!” says the post on Instagram.

Tuesday’s sprint is also a test for waxing, where all nation’s skis will be prepared with the same products.

New this season is the same race distances for women and men in all World Cup events, as the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) decided in May. Several other changes have also been introduced to the World Cup.
