First Cross-Country Ski Race In Davos Season 2022/2023

On Friday, in Davos, Switzerland, 159 athletes will compete at one of the first cross-country ski races on snow for the 2022/2023 season.

On Friday, in Davos, Switzerland, 159 athletes will compete at one of the first cross-country ski races on snow for the 2022/2023 season.

In the past week, several national teams have been on the snow farming tracks of Davos: Swiss, French, Italian, and Canadian National Teams. Two Ski Classics Pro Teams are also in place: Team Nordic Expérience and Team BSV Ibex. They will compete on Friday in an 11km classic individual start race.

On the start lists, several big names, both on the men’s and women’s side: Clément Parisse, Maurice Manificat, Beda Klee, Antoine Cyr, Thomas Joly, Delphine Claudel, Anja Weber, Martina Bellini, among others.

This first event of the season with many excellent central European skiers will give us a taste of what is coming this winter.
